SPECIAL SESSION

OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE

COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT OF SOUTH TAMA COUNTY

 

The Board of Directors of the Community School District of South Tama County met on February 29, 2008 in Special Session meeting at Deer Creek Clinic, Tama, Iowa at 8:16 a.m.

 

On call of the roll the following were present:   

Andy Bagnall

                                                                        Jackie Dvorak

                                                                        Ron Hala

                                                                        Don Wacha

                                                                        Michelle Yuska

Quorum present.

 

Also present were: Kim Gardner and the Tryon & Associates firm.

 

Motion by Yuska, second by Wacha to go into closed session at 8:16a.m. to interview Candidate #1. All ayes.

 

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to go out of closed session at 9:27 a.m.. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to go into closed session at 10:20 a.m. to interview Candidate #2. All ayes.

 

Motion by Bagnall, second by Hala to go out of closed session at 11:45 a.m. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to go into closed session at 1:52 p.m. to interview Candidate #3. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Yuska to go out of closed session at 2:30 p.m. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to go into closed session at 2:50 p.m. to interview Candidate #4. All ayes.

 

Motion by Yuska, second by Hala to go out of closed session at 4:25 p.m. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to go into closed session at 5:52 p.m. to interview Candidate #5. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Yuska to go into recess from 7:17 to 7:30 p.m. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to select Kerri Nazarenus and Robert Cue as the two finalists. All ayes.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to go out of closed sesson at 7:33 p.m.

 

Motion by yuska, second by Hala to adjourn at 7:34 p.m. All ayes.
