SPECIAL SESSION

OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE

COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT OF SOUTH TAMA COUNTY

 

The Board of Directors of the Community School District of South Tama County met on March 7, 2008 in Special Session meeting at the Administrative Center, Tama, Iowa at 5:07p.m.

 

On call of the roll the following were present:   

Andy Bagnall

                                                                        Jackie Dvorak

                                                                        Ron Hala

                                                                        Don Wacha

                                                                        Michelle Yuska

Quorum present.

 

Also present were: Kim Gardner and Gaylord Tryon from Tryon & Associates.

 

Motion by Hala, second by Bagnall to go into closed session at 5:07 p.m. All ayes.

 

Recess declared by Dvorak at 7:40p.m. Out of recess at 7:50p.m.

 

Motion by Yuska, second by Bagnall to go out of closed session at 7:55 p.m. All ayes.

 

Motion by Bagnall, second by Yuska to offer a contract to Kerri Nazarenus with a salary of $112,500.00 and benefits as determined by board policy . An additional $5,000.00 will be given for moving expenses into the South Tama school district. All ayes.

 

Motion by Yuska, second by Bagnall to adjourn at 8:03p.m. All ayes.
